Oh gee! It's been a year since I posted on my blog! Life certainly does get busy - I really must stop watching so much TV. I still really want to improve my photography so I have signed up for Kim Klassen's year long course "Beyond Layers" so hopefully it will not only improve my photos but also keep me inspired to post at least something on my blog.
This week we had to create something that was simple - the less the better. I took a few photos this afternoon but then got sidetracked with phone calls and other things so by the time I checked them out the natural light had gone and I wasn't happy with the angle of any of them. I couldn't take any more so I choose the best one and added the texture and followed a couple of Kim's tricks and this was the outcome:
Note to self - iron the material you are using for a backdrop before taking the photo.
I also used the texture and Kim's tips on this photo which I took at the beginning of January and I'm really happy with how it is looking now - this will be one to print and scrap although I'm thinking it needs some text on it - will have to consider what to write.
